The St. Augustine Nights of Lights are ON!!!

As if historic St. Augustine was not a magical place to begin with, now through January 5th you can see this city transform into a Christmas wonderland — with three million lights! These lights are so spectacular they were selected as one of the top 10 Christmas light shows in the world by National Geographic in both 2011 and 2012! The best way to view them is to hop aboard one of St. Augustine’s famous trains.

Ripley’s Big Red Christmas Trains!

Ripley's Christmas Train St. Augustine!

Ripley’s Big Red Train tours will take you on an mesmerizing tour of Old St Augustine like you have never seen before. You will pass by some of the oldest buildings in America while each is glowing under the Christmas lights.

What’s our favorite part?

When you buy you tickets for the Ripley’s Holiday Train, you are given a pair of special glasses that take holiday lights to the next level! The glasses actually turn the twinkling lights into stars (or holiday shapes).  When you tilt your head from side, to side, the lights dance too! Watching the kids with these great big smiles on there face while rocking their heads back in forth to make the stars dance with them was a memory we will cherish forever — so much fun!

Get Ready for “Christmas Magic”

To make this experience even more grand on Friday and Saturday evenings through December 24 Ripley’s will be hosting an event called “Christmas Magic” on the grounds of the Believe It or Not! Museum. There will be performers, balloon artists, face painters, a giant marshmallow pit, visits from Santa, stories from Mrs. Claus, and new this year the “Ripley’s Family challenge” game show. You can enjoy the festivities at Ripley’s then catch the Christmas train which leaves from parking lot of the museum.
